Stakeholder Workshop on -Organic agriculture, current situations and the core solution of the ‘Strengthening the Framework for Production and Marketing of Organic Agricultural Products in Northern Vietnam - MOAP project’
On June 6, 2016, ADDA and Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association organized a partner consultation workshop in Hanoi. The objective of the workshop was how to expand the organic production in Vietnam in both aspects of geographic site and commodities. Joining the conference were representatives of farmer groups, the organic farm from Luong Son and Soc Son, local government representatives; Representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Association protects consumer protection, the Institute of Agriculture, Farmers Association of Peace, businesses and organic retail stores in Hanoi. At the conference all parties focused on discussing two key issues that is the quality control system and product certification. Moreover the participants also discussed how to support capacity building of VOAA and strengthen the organizational structure of the Association to ensure effectiveness and sustainability.
