FIGNAHB Project: Biannual monitoring workshop 2014 in Nghe An
In collaboration with ADDA, Farmers' Union (FU) in Nghe An province organized the biannual monitoring workshop 2014 of the project titled “Strengthening Farmer Interest Groups among Ethnic Minorities in Nghe An" so-called FIGNAHB project on Tuesday, August 19th 2014. From ADDA side, Mrs. Arafa Khatib – Deputy Country Representative of ADDA in Viet Nam and the FIGNAHB project team attended the workshop. From local partners, the workshop received the attendance of representatives of FU from the districts of Quy Hop and Tan Ky, 19 local facilitators and PMU members.
At the workshop, all participants were divided into 5 groups for discussion to review on the progress of the project, analyze achievements, strong points and difficulties in the first 6 months' implementation of the year 2014 and suggest solutions in the coming months.
Concluding discussion session, all stakeholders came up with an agreement that the project, in coming time, should focus its support to the FIGs which have potential to develop as standard models of Cooperative Group which will be replicated to other FIGs and other places in province.
