The Permit Renewal of ADDA Representative Office in Vietnam

On October 1st, 2013, ADDA received the extension of the Registration Certificate of Representative Office in Vietnam (Permit) with the purpose to conduct humanitarian and development assistance programs and/or projects in Vietnam for another 5 years. The Permit was issued first time in 2006 and extended in 2010. The ceremony of issuing the representative office permit and the signing of the MOU took place at the headquarter of PACCOM and the MoU was signed by Mr. Don Tuan Phong, former President of PACCOM and Vice chairman of COMINGO.

Representative of PACCOM, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hung, the Deputy Director General, expressed his gratefulness and he highly appreciated ADDA's support and contribution for the development of Vietnam. He especially emphasized the importance of those projects that have been carried out by ADDA so far. Mr. Hung affirmed that the Committee for international non-governmental organization affairs (COMINGO) will do their best and provide the best conditions for INGOs to implement projects in Vietnam. With this support from Vietnamese authorized organization, ADDA is opening up for further development work in Vietnam benefitting the poor population in the rural areas.
